This blog is a place to share my tips, tools, tricks, and tirades related to working on amateur car racing. I’m Josh, and my team runs a 24 Hours of Lemons car. We’re based out of Covington KY, and primarily race in the South, East, and Midwest regions. We run a VW New Beetle, so you’ll see a lot of content related to that car, which also tends to be relevant for Mk4 Golf and Jetta, as well as Audi TT’s.
We’re not professional mechanics! A few of us are new, and a few of us have been turning the wrenches for a while, but none of us have ever made our living at this. So we’re always learning things, and looking for ways to run faster, longer, safer, as well as make our lives easier in the garage and on race weekends.
